SAVE THE DATE 3-28: Port City Links 15th Health, Education, Science Fair and Carnival with HBCU Village 2020 at South Central Sportz 19th Baseball Opening Day at Sunnyside Park

You are invited to participate at the Port City Chapter of the Links, Incorporated 15th Annual Health, Education, Science Fair, and Carnival. This year the celebration will be held on Saturday March 28, 2020 from 10:00am – 1:30pm in conjunction with South Central Sportz Youth Baseball Opening Day-all team names honor the Negro League and cosponsored by Councilmember Carolyn Evans-Shabazz, Schlumberger, A-Rocket Moving, Houston Astros, Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

This FREE community wide Fair and Carnival will have science, health, education, and summer camp booths, HBCU college fair, as well as FREE Carnival activities such as Rock-Climbing Wall, Face Painting, Pony Rides and Petting Zoo, hands on science activities and more! The Fair and Carnival will be held at Sunnyside Park, located at 3502 Bellfort, Houston, TX 77051.

Each year the fair begins with the South Central Sportz Youth Ages 4-14 Baseball Teams Spring Season Opening Ceremony parade, now in its 19th season! Last year there were over 700 attendees and each year city, state and national political leaders participate at the ceremonies!

Join the fun interactive exhibits, informational games, prizes, health screenings, brochures and “hands on experiments”.

We have limited opportunities for booths in our 4 Villages: Health, Science-STEM, Education including the Arts & Special HBCU College Fair).
