Hamilton Tickets on sale for May - Aug 2017

More tickets on sale for Hamilton.....

From Efamily Member Pat Evans
Check out fresh star in Hamilton Sasha Hollinger, who grew up in Woodbridge and studied at George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia. I met her this summer at Hamilton's stage door and she is AWESOME!

Actress and Dancer From Washington to Play “#thebullet” in Hamilton

Hollinger has a crucial duty: She’ll “play” the bullet that Aaron Burr fires to kill Alexander Hamilton in their duel that serves as the show’s climax - slowly walking from Burr’s gun over to Hamilton, arm stretched out in front of her.  Excruciatingly precise detail....

College Degrees are more important than ever. It’s estimated that by 2020, 65% of job offerings will require a college degree. The 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston, Inc. will lead forty-eight young men on a chartered bus college tour around southern states. We will enjoy stops at the alma maters of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Booker T. Washington, Bullet Bob Hayes, and Coach Eddie Robinson. We will also experience historical sites such as Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Edmund Pettus Bridge along the way.
The target demographics are our mentees and other high school aged young men across metropolitan Houston. Our goal is to introduce our students to college life first-hand and increase their interests in continuing their education beyond high school. During this week long trip, chaperones will lead study groups on different topics such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, race relations and relationships. We will have a book club style discussion and journal style reflections along the way. Mentees will be responsible for $100 tuition and some of their meals. The 100 will subsidize the cost of transportation, lodging, activities, and most meals.
Education attainment is more important to our economic success than ever before. Allowing our students to visit campuses, interact with current students, and realize that a bright academic future is within their reach is our primary goal. We want to create a strong college-going culture for our young men.
Itinerary includes (subject to change):
Alabama State University , Alcorn State University, Clark-Atlanta University, Florida A&M University,  Jackson State University, Morehouse College, Southern University, Tuskegee University, and Xavier University.
Join the tour today!
