In Conversation is the primary fundraising effort that makes possible the programs and operations of the Zan Wesley Holmes Jr. Community Outreach Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The “Conversation” hosts a distinguished guest each year who helps to shine a light on the life and events of our city, state, nation, and world. This year's distinguished guest is The Honorable Helen Giddings. This 11th presentation of In Conversation promises to be stimulating, visceral and certainly impactful with insights from this committed public servant that will empower, strengthen, and transform women leaders and influence the lives of all who attend. In Conversation 2024 will be Moderated by Ambassador Ron Kirk and our Honorary Chairs, are Rick Hightower and Rita Parson Hightower. Proceeds from In Conversation will help us continue Dr. Zan W. Holmes’ legacy of Christian service and its mission to create self-sustaining pathways out of poverty for young people and families in Dallas through education and job placement.
