NAMI Walks RESCHEDULED

In the spirit of resilience and community, we are excited to announce our upcoming event: NAMIWalks 2.0: Stronger Than Ever! Event Details: Date: Sunday, August 4, 2024 Time: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Location: George R. Brown Convention Center Our community is strong and resilient. We recognize that the recent storm was a setback for some of our friends, neighbors, and family members, but with the support we find in our community, we bounce back. This year, we are thrilled to partner with the athletic group, American Fit Experience, which shares our passion for mental health and wellness. Join us! We are calling all Walkers, vendors, sponsors, and exhibitors to join us at NAMIWalks 2.0. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the event date. T-Shirt and Incentive Gift Distribution: NAMI Greater Houston will distribute T-Shirts and incentive gifts earned by team captains and walkers on: June 10th and June 20th Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Location: Harris Center, 9401 Southwest Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77074 We will set up a drive-by table in our parking lot to facilitate easy pick-up without the need to park and enter the building. Fundraising Continues: Team Captains, the NAMIWalks fundraiser continues through August 10th! Due to the storms in our area and ongoing recovery efforts, we have extended the Walk season end date. We are 62% towards our goal of $350,000, and with your continued support, we can achieve this target. Your contributions help NAMI Greater Houston train and certify more facilitators to extend psychoeducation classes and support groups throughout our three-county service area.
