AmeriCorps Cultural Learning Community Webinars
The AmeriCorps Cultural Learning Community is a 12-month series on DEIA topics. Webinars are open to federal employees and AmeriCorps external stakeholders, partners, and volunteers. Celebrating Native American Heritage Month with NASA Internships
Thursday, November 21 • 4:00 – 5:00 PM ET (Register)
Join NASA in celebrating Native American Heritage by highlighting the achievements of Native American professionals as diversity champions, sharing first-hand experiences from current interns about life at NASA, providing insights into the internship application process and opportunities, and engaging in a dynamic Q&A session with interns and internship specialists. This event will be open to the general public (high school, undergraduate, graduate students interested in a NASA internship) but will target students from Tribal Colleges and Universities and Native American-Serving Non-Tribal Institutions. Federal Aviation Administration Internship: Minority Serving Institutions Program
The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) Internship is now accepting applications. The FAA Student Programs Team is excited to invite you and students to seven upcoming virtual informational sessions discussing the MSI internship program! These sessions will provide valuable insight into the internship opportunity available and offer assistance with applications.
Whether you’re ready to apply or simply learn more about what the program offers, we encourage you to attend. The FAA team will be available to answer your questions and provide guidance on the application process. Registration is required. Registrants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. For questions, please email studentprograms@faa.gov.

Background
- On November 23, 2021, The White House released the 2021 Government-wide Strategic Plan to Advance Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce. The plan offers a roadmap for implementing the President’s Executive Order 14035: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce, and lays out key steps that agencies can take to strengthen DEIA in their workforce policies, practices, and culture.
