Internships Congressional Black Caucus Foundation - Please Share!

 

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) is pleased to share that applications are now open for our Summer 2026 Internship Programs and 2026 Scholarship Programs. We invite you to review these opportunities and share them with students, families, and community members who may benefit.


These programs reflect CBCF’s long-standing commitment to preparing the next generation of leaders through hands-on experience, academic support, and professional development.

Summer 2026 Internship Programs

Program Dates: May 23 – July 26, 2026

Application Deadline: March 27, 2026

Congressional Internship

This program offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain valuable insight into policymaking, governance, and civic engagement through direct exposure to the legislative process.



Pathways to the C-Suite Internship

This program places students and recent graduates within corporate environments to better understand the policy-making process through the lens of executive leadership.


  • Applicants should have a general familiarity with the federal legislative process, the U.S. Congress, the Congressional Black Caucus and its Members, and related policy issues.
  • Minimum GPA Requirement: 3.0

Virtual Information Sessions

Students and interested supporters are encouraged to attend a virtual information session hosted by CBCF’s Leadership Institute . Speak directly with our team at the upcoming session on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 6:30 PM ET.

Application Deadline: March 27, 2026

CBCF is accepting applications for our 2026 Scholarship Programs, which support graduating high school seniors and scholars pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees across a wide range of disciplines.
