Dear colleagues and friends,

Do you know a high schooler who is interested in data or math? Check out Bentley University's summer camp courses on Data Analytics and, new this summer, Quant Risk Management

In the Data Analytics course, students will learn how to solve problems with the power of data. Through hands-on lessons, expert guest speakers, and working with real-world data using professional analytics software, students will learn not just how to analyze data, but how data can be used to solve problems, communicate to others, and help change the world.

In the Quant Risk Management course, students will dive into how organizations make smart decisions in the face of uncertainty. Through hands-on activities, real-world case studies, talks from industry professionals, and interactive skill-building workshops, students will explore how risks-from financial volatility to natural disaster threats-are identified, measured, and managed using quantitative tools.

Additionally, as part of our mission to create a fun and positive learning experience, both courses culminate in a capstone experience, where students work in teams to apply what they've learned in a real-world setting. Our courses are taught by full-time Bentley faculty in data analytics, actuarial science, and mathematics who are excited to share their expertise!

Located in Waltham, Massachusetts, Bentley's pre-college programs also offer unique opportunities for high school students to experience residential college life. Students stay in a college dorm, eat in the dining halls, and build meaningful friendships both inside and outside the classroom. Students can gain valuable insights into their academic interests and career aspirations by immersing themselves in a rigorous and supportive learning environment.

Four one-week sessions will be offered this summer:

June 15th to June 19th Data Analytics

June 22nd to June 26th Data Analytics

July 13th to July 17th Data Analytics

July 20th to July 24th Quant Risk Management

If your student is interested in data or math, or just looking for something interesting to do this summer, join us for an exciting week!

To apply to the program go
here. Students who apply early get priority access, so now is the perfect time to start. Use application fee waiver code: PRECOLLEGE to apply for free!

GVAUGHAN@bentley.edu or Bentley University Pre-College Programs (precollege@bentley.edu).

The program flyer is attached.

Best regards,

Mingfei
