Happy Saturday, family and friends; just a short message today.
Today was the first Ward Medville HS soccer game. Aliya is a senior and has been on the varsity team since 8th grade. In those first three years, they won the State Championship. Last year they fell short, but this year she is a senior, and they want to earn that title again. A bonus for Aliya is that her sister Jada, a freshman, is also on the team. Jada also began her varsity soccer career as an 8th grader. In today’s game, Aliya sent a cross to Emma, who crossed to Jada, who scored a side volley. Final score: 1-0!Please keep voting for Aliya as Youth Athlete of the Year. You can only vote every 24 hrs. I set my alarm so I don’t forget, lol!
