PACE is hosting it's first Annual Call to College Conference and College Fair! Organized in student and parent tracks, college readiness sessions are available to increase attendees' awareness with higher education. For students, some of the sessions include the following: Understanding Institution Types, Preparing College Applications, Deciding on a Major and Career, and Getting and Keeping an Athletic Scholarship. For parents, the following sessions are available: Helping Students Transition to College, How to Pay for College, Understanding Career Options, and Models of Success - A Panel of Parents. Additionally, attendees will have lunch and a special presentation from area college students. Lastly, there will be a college fair in which recruiters and special speakers from approximately 30 colleges and universities will take questions and college applications from attendees.
