Efamily member Barbara Paige has workshop for those concerned about preparing for layoffs...

Are you or someone you know concerned about layoffs at Schlumberger, Trans Ocean, Baker Hughes, Halliburton and other energy industry companies?
The financial steps you take in anticipation of or after a layoff are critical to your ability to maintain your momentum towards your financial goals. To help affected employees, my colleagues and I are hosting a series of webinars to discuss financial planning strategies to help weather the job transition. 
The one hour webinar is offered on the First Friday and the Third Thursday of each month at 11:30 am. The next installment is Friday May 1, 2015.

The webinars will provide strategies that can be utilized by employees in any company. In addition, on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, we will be offering a seminar specifically targeted to Halliburton/Baker Hughes employees. It will be held at Pappas Seafood House on I-45 North. There will be two opportunities to attend: Lunch Hour (11:30 am – 1:00 pm and Happy Hour (6:00 pm-8:00 pm).  Details are forthcoming under separate cover.
