National Night Out Oct 4 -- Follow the Mayor and Police Chief on Twitter!

HPD:  Grab A Snack, Put On A Smile And Meet Your Neighbors! It's Almost Time For National Night Out!   Houstonians, get your lawn chairs, coolers and food ready! Come join the Houston Police Department, meet your neighbors and participate in the 33nd Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, October 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  This is an opportunity to get out and speak with your neighbors, as well as interact with HPD officers to discuss crime concerns in the community.  Take advantage of this opportunity to meet the officers who patrol your neighborhoods and help strengthen police and community relations.  Thousands of citizens in neighborhoods all over the city are expected to step out of their homes to meet their neighbors and renew their commitment to public safety.  Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and Acting Police Chief Martha I.
