The CGP Houston "Breaking Out:
Breaking the Chains. Breaking the Cycle." Inaugural
Black Tie Gala will take place on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Queensbury
Theatre in Houston, TX. Join us as the students of CGP take
the stage to lead you on a riveting journey, theatrically detailing how CGP has
helped them "break out" and "break the cycle". You
will be greatly entertained and deeply inspired!
During
this year’s gala we will recognize you along with other outstanding individuals
for their significant contributions to our young people and the community at
large. This year's honorees are:
CGP - Heart of Houston Award - Presented to
Constable Alan Rosen - Harris County Constable's Office Precinct One
CGP - Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award -
Presented to Marcus Davis, Business Owner - The Breakfast Klub
CGP - You Are Fearless Award -
Presented to U.S. Representative Sheila Jackson-Lee - 18th Congressional
District of Texas
CGP - Faithful Visionary Leadership Award -
Presented to Rev. Dr. Marcus Cosby, Senior Pastor - Wheeler Avenue Baptist
Church
CGP - Houston Game Changer Award -
Presented to Darryl Gaines, Assistant to the Center Director - National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Johnson Space Center (JSC)
