Registrants will attend 3 classes from 9:30a – 12:20p. Please arrive at the University of Houston Law Center at 8:45 on the day of the People's Law School. At that time you will receive a copy of your class schedule.

Have you ever had a family law, wills, or landlord/tenant question? Are you being harassed by a debt collector, stuck with a lemon or interested in starting a business?
This is your chance to learn more about your legal rights and have fun at the same time.
The Center for Consumer Law at the University of Houston Law Center, will host more than 15 volunteer lawyers, judges, and law professors, teaching courses in business law, consumer law, landlord tenant law, credit and debt collection, wills, social security, and insurance. Each person may choose three classes to attend.
Although the People's Law School won't make you an attorney, it will help you settle disputes and avoid problems. Whether your house or car flooded, you are buying a car, preparing a will, dealing with a debt collector, or in a dispute with a neighbor, knowing your legal rights can make a difference.
