The Entrepreneurial Spirit Fund is here to support groundbreaking entrepreneurs! Recipients will receive a $10,000 grant, as well as mentorship from the brand’s incredible founder and one of the first Hispanic people in history to create a scotch whisky company, Carin Luna-Ostaseski. Plus, everyone who applies receives free access to Hello Alice's thousands of curated resources and a community of nearly half a million small business owners.
 
Eligible businesses must:
  • Be owned (51%+) by a person/people identifying as multicultural and/or person of color
  • Be a for-profit business producing less than $1MM in annual revenue
  • Operate and/or conduct business in at least one of these states: California, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New York, and/or Texas
 
Eligible applicants must:
  • Be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States
  • Be at least 25 years or older as of September 14, 2021
  • Be the owner of the business or an individual legally authorized to bind the business

As part of the Back2Business program, Fiserv is accepting applications from eligible minority-owned merchants based in Oklahoma and Texas. The $10,000 Back2Business grant can assist these merchants with payroll, rent or lease payments, technology or equipment purchases, or premise redesign.

To qualify, merchants must have revenues of less than $1 million annually, be founded prior to January 1, 2020, and have fewer than 11 employees. Applications can be submitted at https://aeoworks.org/fiserv/ and will be accepted until funds for these states have been fully distributed.

Recently, Fiserv partnered with the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce in Tulsa, OK, to administer grants, consulting services, and Clover from Fiserv point-of-sale technology solutions to four small businesses with strong ties to the Black Wall Street community in Greenwood.
