Funeral Service
Set for Rep. Turner’s Sister
The funeral service for the sister of St. Rep. Sylvester Turner
has been set for Saturday, May 23.
The service for
Pearlie Marie Tyrone will be held at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 944
Rev. B.J. Lewis Drive, with Pastor Raymond Hillis. Viewing will be from
8:30 to 9:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 10 a.m.
Ms. Tyrone passed on May 14 following a lengthy illness.
Rep. Turner said he and his family are grateful for the many expressions of
condolence they have received from the community.
