With the theme
"Let's Find Out," Google has created four-week-long summer camps
for children ages 7 to 10 highlighting the ocean, space, nature and music.
For "Space
Week," Google teamed up with NASA to feature a video on the science of
space food—which was filmed at JSC with astronaut Don Pettit, Food Lab
Systems Manager Vickie Kloeris, YouTube celebrity Michael Stevens and two
junior chefs. Kids can view other videos that answer questions like "How
do you defy gravity?" and "What are constellations?" and
participate in interactive activities and earn space-themed badges.
#CampGoogle can be
accessed from virtually anywhere. Parents and teachers can send
kids to camp at https://camp.withgoogle.com
or straight from www.Google.com,
where Space Week is featured today!
