If your answer to the question above is yes, then now you have a marvelous opportunity to make your dream come true.  The Bronze Eagles Flying Club of Texas, Inc. (BEFC) will award scholarships to this year’s Black Pilots of America (BPA) Summer Flight Academy (SFA).  Each scholarship will pay up to the full tuition of $3,470.00.  However, if you do not qualify for a scholarship, you may still apply and attend the SFA if you provide your own tuition through your own benefactor. Your tuition includes room and board.

The SFA’s Ground School will be held at Texas Southern University (TSU) in its famed Airway Science and Transportation facility, on July 9-23, 2015. You will be domiciled at TSU during the two weeks of your attendance.  You will receive a maximum of ten (10) hours of flight training (in an airplane) at a local airport.  Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified flight and ground instructors provide all of your instruction.
