The Greater Channel Chapter
of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. Teen Group is excited to host its Second
Annual Fundraiser “N.S.S.B (No Scrubs Spring Break) 1980’S & 90’S
Throwback Party!” on Saturday, March 12, at The Health Museum 1515 Hermann
Drive, Houston, TX 77004 from 8 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. The dance is open to
high school teens in the greater Houston area.
The “N.S.S.B (No Scrubs
Spring Break) 1980’S & 90’S Throwback Party!” is being planned by teens
for teens to have a fun and safe event that will kick-off their 2016 Spring
Break. Greater Channel Teens have set a goal of donating a minimum of
$15,000 to benefit the March of Dimes and the Jack & Jill of America,
Incorporated Foundation. Both organizations are 501c(3) non-profit
organizations. Both organizations independently work to inspire and
enable youth – from birth through teenage years – to live their healthiest
and best lives. As Greater Channel Teens, we are proud to lead this
effort on behalf of the teens in our chapter. We ask for your support
of our efforts to raise funds for these two worthy organizations dedicated to
youth.
Jack & Jill of America,
Incorporated is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19.
Established in 1938, Jack & Jill members are mothers dedicated to
nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening all children through
leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic
duty. We choose to embrace our leadership through volunteer services and
philanthropy in a way that will help other youth.
We are committed to reaching
our financial goal. So in addition to selling tickets, to high school teens,
we are also soliciting donations to help us reach our financial goal.
All donations are tax deductible. You may select a sponsorship ticket level
and pay online or you may contact if you wish to donate by check or
cash. Thank you for your sincere consideration.
Should you need more
information about the event, or have questions about becoming a sponsor,
please email us at nssbfundraiser2016@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Chris Cunningham, Cameron Johnson, and McKenna
Sanders,
