Free Home Weatherization from Centerpoint thanks Coalition of Community Organizations for sharing!

CenterPoint Energy has partnered with Ambassadors CDC to provide free home weatherization services to qualified low income and senior citizens. 

If you qualify for these home weatherization services it can lower your utility bills. This free service includes one or more of the following: 

*Below is a list of the possible measures that can be done on a home through the CenterPoint Agencies in Action (AIA) Program if it is approved through the NEAT Program. 

• compact fluorescent light (CFL)
• attic insulation 
• refrigerator replacement 
• central ac replacement
• window ac replacement 
• air infiltration reduction
• water heater pipe insulation 
• solar screens 
• heat pump replacement 
• duct sealing 
• water heater jacket 
• low flow shower heads
• wall insulation

Qualifications for this program include:

• Must be a current CenterPoint Energy customer or affiliate provider 
• Must live in Houston/Galveston area of Texas 
• Must meet state or federal assistance programs
