Greater Houston Black Chamber Events - Business Opportunities Galore! Thanks Pratt and Janice for sharing!

Your Weekly News & Updates
Welcome to our weekly news digest!
This week's edition contains valuable resources to help position
your business for growth.

After weeks of closed door meetings, the Senate unveiled its new healthcare plan - a plan that cuts funding for Medicaid and Planned Parenthood, allows insurance companies to eliminate essential care benefits like maternity care and substance abuse treatment, and eliminates healthcare subsidies for working families. This is a disaster for the American people and our economy. It is a healthcare bill that gives massive tax breaks to drug companies, insurance companies, and the wealthy at the expense of low and middle-income families.

This Senate Bill is opposed by the AARP, the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the American Medical Association, the American Nurses Association, and the American Cancer Society, among others

Last attempt before Senate goes back to session!
