Showcases for younger students on new equipment that Idea Lab develops curriculum for Competitions between Idea Lab Robotics teams and Other Teams around the City in a unique set of challenges
Hands-on, engaging projects with Awesome Idea Lab Teachers
A food truck
What to Bring:
If competing in the 10-13 year old bracket, you must provide your own Lego Mindstorm Kit (EV3 or NXT)
Snack and Water Bottle
Everything else will be provided
We will have multiple competitions and showcases for different age groups.
5-6 Years Old:
9:00 - 10:00 am: Dash and Dot
10:00 - 11:00 am: Lego Wedo 2.0 Showcase
11:00 - 12:00 pm: SphereO Showcase
12:00 - 12:30 pm: Presentation from Robotics Team/ Engineer
7-9 Years Old:
9:00 - 10:00 am: Lego Wedo 2.0 Building and Coding Challenge
10:00 - 11:00 am: SphereO- Protect the Balloon
11:00 - 12:00 pm: SphereO Obstacle
12:00 - 12:30 pm: Presentation from Robotics Team/ Engineer
10- 13 Years Old:
9:00 - 10:00 am: SphereO Obstacle Course Challenge
10:00 - 11:00 am: 5 Minutes Speed Build and Programming Challenge (Teams of 4)
11:00 - 12:00 pm: 30 Minute Creative Build and Programming Challenge (Teams of 4)
12:00 - 12:30 pm: Presentation from Robotics Team/ Engineer
