Wildflower Planting Saturday Nov. 4th - Please Confirm Participation with Lisa! Thanks Elwyn for sharing!

My apologies for the extremely late notice, but we have a wildflower planting event this Saturday at 9 a.m. along Brays Bayou at MacGregor Park, and I would like to know if you want to participate.

This event is part of the City of Houston Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Planting event, and to help manage volunteers, the Houston Parks Board is gathering volunteers to plant wildflowers along the bayous.

Planting is easy, and all you need to do is simply spread the seeds from cups which will eventually bloom into colorful blankets of wildflowers in the spring! Items to wear/bring to the event: pants, sneakers with socks, hat (optional), long sleeve shirt (if sensitive to the sun), sunscreen and water.

Please let me know if you can join this wonderful event.

Thank you,

Lisa
