The Leadership Experience & Employment Program founded by the late Harris County Commissioner El Franco Lee and now sponsored by Commissioner Rodney Ellis, places Houston area college students in internship positions in county departments and private firms.  Founded in 1985, the Leadership Experience & Employment Program promotes personal growth, academic excellence and professional work experience in fields such as engineering, science and technology, health care, accounting, and construction to name a few.

2022 Applications are now open! The application deadline is January 28, 2022 for next year’s Lee Program opportunities.

ELIGIBILITY	Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (12 or more earned credit hours) for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 Cannot be on academic probation
