Division of Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences Cancer Prevention Research Training Program Summer Research Experience Applications Due: Thurs., Jan. 20, 2022 11:59 p.m. CST APPLY NOW We are now accepting applications for a 10-week, NCI-funded summer internship in cancer prevention and control. Application deadline: Thursday, January 20, 2022, 11:59 p.m. CST Open to undergraduate, graduate and health profession students. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. We regret Visa holders are not eligible. Must be enrolled in a U.S. degree-granting program during the 2022 spring and fall semesters. Applicants from diverse backgrounds including underrepresented minority students, students from economically disadvantaged and underserved backgrounds, and students with disabilities are encouraged. Competitive stipend provided by a grant award from the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Additional benefits include round-trip airfare to/from Houston, housing assistance, and research support funds. COVID-19 UPDATE: Summer internship locations will be either on-campus or 100% remote at the discretion of the matched faculty mentor. All other internship activities (e.g., seminars, workshops, final presentations) are tentatively 100% virtual. We will communicate final MD Anderson COVID guidelines, internship and activity locations to all selected interns, matched mentors, and support staff by March 31, 2022.
