More about Palo-Alto Based Engineering College (WIT) focused on acute underrepresentation of African Americans and students of African descent through scholarships and unique educational programs
Thanks efamily member Sam Denard for sharing this unique opportunity!
Hello,
The Wade Institute of Technology (WIT) is a new Palo Alto-based engineering college focused on mitigating the acute underrepresentation of African Americans and students of African descent through scholarships and unique educational programs.
We’re seeking applicants for 2023 for our:
Wade Scholarship Program – full-ride scholarship for Black STEM students to complete a STEM master's degree. Meet our scholars here. Who do you know who could benefit? Encourage them to Apply Today.
Integrated Engineering Master’s – 24-month program for African Americans with undergraduate degrees in a STEM discipline OR in the liberal arts.
Not designed for those seeking to become skilled technologists. Instead, it offers background in core engineering areas for those who want broad-based management and leadership roles in technology.
Design Phase is underway, and we’re looking for students to start in January 2023 as part of a small cohort of talented students collaborating with faculty on the curriculum. Students accepted for the Design Phase receive compensation equivalent to a full-ride scholarship to cover expenses and a stipend.
Learn more about how we’re championing "Engineering for Everyone" and encourage interested scholars to Apply Today!
Thank you in advance for sharing these opportunities within your community.
I am happy to hold Informational Zoom Sessions to answer questions.
I have attached flyers for both programs.
Regards,
Lorna Jones
