 Biden nominee AKA Soror Tanya Bradsher NEEDS THE SUPPORT OF OUR MIGHTY D9 FORCE to be confirmed by the Senate as the first Black woman to be Veteran Affairs (VA) Deputy Secretary. Please phone your two U.S. Senators at 202-224-3121 U.S. Capitol main phone line switchboard and respectfully (since it's a reflection on Bradsher) ask your Senators (not the House of Representatives) for their support to schedule a vote after tomorrow's hearing and to vote YES for Bradsher because of her qualifications: Bradsher, 53, is a third-generation soldier, serving in the Army for 20 years before retiring as a lieutenant colonel. A native of Virginia, she enlisted in 1993 after graduating with an American History degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed Officer Candidate School a year later. Her service included four years in South Korea and a year-long deployment to Iraq in 2008 and 2009, working as a public affairs officer with the 4th Infantry Division.

The Houston (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has served the Houston Community for more than 70 years. We are committed to leading the way to ensure our youth are academically successful. To further support our mission, we are pleased to announce that the 2023 scholarship applications are currently available!!!    The online application https://bit.ly/3WzUJkL must be completed by June 30, 2023. The application is also located on the chapter scholarship website, www.houstonlinks.org/scholarship/    Scholarship Criteria Applicant must be a senior/home school student of African American descent graduating by June 2023.
