NAACP Youth Council - Your teen or grandchild -- GET INVOLVED - YOUTH are our FUTURE!

We invite your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, and godchild between the ages of 0-25 to attend the NAACP Houston, Texas Youth Council, February General Membership Body Meeting on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 2:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the NAACP Houston Branch Office Building on 2002 Wheeler Avenue, Houston, Texas 77004. The General Membership meeting will focus on Political Action and the 55th NAACP Image Awards. Before the General Body Meeting ends, the NAACP Houston, Texas Youth Council’s Health Committee cordially invites your student to participate in the Let's Be Blunt! advocacy program. The advocacy program aims to spread awareness about the impact of marijuana and vaping on the current generation, particularly as it relates to Black youth. During the program, students will explore how marijuana usage affects the brain, the body, and one’s emotions.
