2 Congressional Races in the 18th Congressional District -- VOTE ALL THE WAY DOWN THE BALLOT - TIPS ON VOTING

Don't assume that your voting status is still current. You want to be sure. The right to vote in a fair election is a hallowed right in our democracy. Elections affect people’s access to quality health care, an education, a safe environment, a thriving community, and so much more. The strength and success of our democracy depend on every voice being heard and every vote being counted. Our office wants to ensure Harris County is ready for the upcoming elections on Tuesday, November 5 – mark the following dates with democracy today. Monday, October 7, is the last day to register for the upcoming election. We encourage everyone to take a moment today to check their voter registration status. You can do so by visiting: Texas Secretary of State My Voter Portal or the Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector & Voter Registrar’s Voter Registration Search. Voters can update their existing registration online with the Secretary of State. Allowable updates include changes to current residential address or name changes. New registrations cannot be submitted online. October 25 is the last day for the County Clerk to receive applications for a ballot to vote by mail.
