Texas Southern University is partnering with the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) to offer a free project-based immersive experience, the STEM Achievers Program, for middle school students (rising 6th-8th graders entering Fall 2026). This program aims to empower middle school students in under-resourced communities to explore STEM subjects, learn problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to career opportunities in technology fields. Participating students will receive mentorship, access to next-gen technology, and hands-on training connected to real-world challenges. The initiative offers engaging programming that helps participants learn design thinking, coding, 3D printing, augmented reality, science, and social entrepreneurship. No prior knowledge or experience is required.
The session runs from June 22nd to July 3rd from 9 am - 4 pm. Applications can be accessed via the QR code on the attached flyer or at https://bit.ly/4dpMdPt.
