Great Program for all High School Students - NAACP ACT-SO

Go to this website and check this out! http://www.actsohouston.org/

To honor efamily member Andrea Arceneaux's memory (she spent 20+ years volunteering with this program and changing the lives of so many kids (many efamily are judges too!) - high quality program, speakers, networking among kids, parents, speakers, judges... I met one of our efamily members a Provost at TSU at one of the ACT-SO meetings when Maria participated. We met kids from all around the city and suburbs that were so talented and ACT-SO graduates who got Gates scholarships and were giving back prizes like laptops to the kids who participated - this is a great way to get recognition for your kids in so many areas from poetry to piano to engineering to science projects and win great prizes and trips to nationals. I met artists who were amazing and it was truly a worthwhile experience. Its not too late to participate.
