Internships Flatiron Institute Applications Now Open Work with a Mentor

Applications are now open for the Simons Foundation's summer research internships at the Flatiron Institute.

The Simons Foundation's mission is to advance the frontiers of research in mathematics and the basic sciences. Our Flatiron Institute offers internships in the Center for Computational Biology (CCB), the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM), the Center for Computational Neuroscience (CCN) and the Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ). Internships with the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) are offered through participation in the Simons-NSBP Scholars and AstroCom NYC programs. We also offer software and scientific computing internships.

We are seeking summer research assistants/associates (interns) for 11 week terms. Interns must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, undergraduate or higher.

Interns work on exciting projects in collaboration with a mentor, and participate in seminars, workshops and social events throughout the summer. You will work in-person at our New York City-based offices, and housing support may be provided nearby.

Visit Summer at Simons to learn more and apply. Please reach out to employment@simonsfoundation.org with any questions.
