As the owner of a small business, you may qualify for SBA Federal Government enhancement programs based on a variety of factors including being socially and economically disadvantaged and the primary location of your business.  In this workshop we will review and discuss each SBA certification program; providing you an understanding of the purpose of the program, eligibility, and the required documents to submit an application.

Learning Objective:  The objective of the workshop is to provide you an understanding of the eligibility requirements for the SBA 8(a)HUBZone, and WOSB EDWOSB Certification Programs.

In this information packed session you will discover the most important elements you need in order to start and maintain a successful business.  You’ll receive ideastips and recommendations from entrepreneurs and experts in the field.  You’ll examine core elements of every business including how to evaluate your idea, ways to identify your target market, sources of funding, methods of estimating cash flow requirements, potential tax and insurance implications, plus much more!

In addition every class includes a visit from an entrepreneur who will share his or her story of how they got started and lessons learned.

Target Audience:  This meeting is for new clients that have submitted an online application for PTAC services at the website below.  If you have not submitted an application you should not attend this meeting.
