A country’s economic growth in the 21st century is very much a function of its ability to both generate ideas and translate them into innovative products and services. Knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) plays a key role in fostering the innovation and entrepreneurship that are so crucial for a nation’s long-term economic development.
Rice University's Baker Institute, together with the MIT Enterprise Forum of Texas and Texas A&M University, will co-host an international panel on innovation in education. The panelists are all educators who have been involved in programs and initiatives to strengthen STEM education within their respective institutions, communities and countries.
Join the conversation online with #BakerSTEM.
The program will be streamed live.  There will be instructions coming out shortly on how you can watch the live stream of the program if you are not able to attend.
