At this years Port City Links Health, Education, Science Fair and Carnival at the South Central Sportz Baseball Opening day is a NEW FEATURE - HBCU College Village.
In the village in addition to HBCU college booths there will be a booth area for Scholarship organizations and summer opportunities for High School Students. One of the organizations, the Washington-Lincoln Alumni Association of Dallas, Houston Chapter will have FORMS onsite for students to complete - they give multiple $1,000 scholarships!
Help us get the word out High School and Community college students seeking a 4 year college should also attend the Fair !
Many scholarships find it difficult to get students who qualify to complete the forms. Some of the applications are for $500, $1000, $2000 and they lack significant numbers in terms of applicants - but let me tell you for books, transportation, meals - every penny counts!!
If you know of an organization that gives scholarships but needs more applicants - email me at donna.blackshear.reynolds@gmail.com and we will provide them a FREE SPACE at the Fair on March 28th 2020 at Sunnyside Park 3502 Bellfort 77051 10am - 1:30pm Be there!
