Mayor Turner Food and Mask Distribution Sunday June 28th

Greetings all please share!

Many thanks to Mayor Sylvester Turner, Starlight MBC - Pastor Jason Meachum along with partners NACC Disaster Relief Services for making it happen by providing the lunches for the police officers, gallons of milk and grocery boxes for the public.

Thank you to the HPD North Division for partnering with Starlight MBC to build community relations with Acres Homes.

We have extended partners to thank as well such as Samaritan’s Feet which will provide drinks to the volunteers.  I am also excited to add another partner, thanks to La’Torria Lemon of Lemon-Lime Light Media, celebrity/comedian “kidpreneur” TJ Boyce is bringing out his famous Boyce Kids Dream Machine ice cream truck.  He and his sister are going to provide free popsicles and ice cream to all the KIDS that come through with their parents. (Note:  ice cream for Kids only) This is going to be the best drive thru pickup we can make it.

We are expecting between 500+ cars because it is a main street.

Volunteers are welcome to assist with this awesome community event.

Lastly we will serve hot lunches to up to 200 HPD Officers.

See you then.
