SHADES OF BLUE - United Airlines Opportunity for Producing New Airline Pilots
Parents, Educators, Family, and Friends,
United Airlines plans to hire at least 10,000 new pilots over a ten year period and has started the Aviate Program to train 5,000 students who have no aviation experience. Half of the people trained will be women and people of color:
United Airlines to open flight school later this year in hiring push, plans to increase diversity
United is currently accepting applications for the Aviate Program. If you know of any students, with at at least a high school diploma and is interested in becoming a pilot, please let me know. They should also sign up for the DMV Chapter on the SHADES OF BLUE website (ourshadesofblue.org) so that Capt. Willie Daniels (SHADES OF BLUE National President and recently retired United Airline Pilot) can help them navigate the application process.
According to Capt. Daniels, students who become a United Airline pilot can look forward to a 40 year career making six figures.
