Teacher seeks room to rent in Austin or nearby towns within 40 miles

An efamily member and close friend of mine teaches students who are blind at the Austin State School in Austin, Texas. She currently lives 70 miles away at Ft. Hood (her future retirement home) and has not been able to find lodging in Austin (did not anticipate housing would be so difficult - she's tried reasonably priced Air B&B - however this has proven unreliable. She is open to renting a room in Austin and nearby towns such as Georgetown, Pflugerville, Jarrell or any town nearby [within 30 to 40 miles of Austin].
