Volunteers are needed to support the arts for FotoFest, help Afghan refugee women build community, repair homes with SBP, and MORE!! Can you help?

 

• FotoFest 2022 Biennial Volunteer Opportunities | Now through Nov 6th

  FotoFest is a Houston-based contemporary arts organization dedicated to advancing photography and visual culture through the presentation of exhibitions, public programs, and publications. All FotoFest exhibitions are free and open to the public. FotoFest is six weeks long and needs the help of volunteers like you!

• Afghan Women's Community Building Event | Tuesday, October 18th between 11 am - 1 pm
  
  VH Star Agency Interfaith Ministries' Women's Empowerment Group is throwing a social event for their Afghan Women's Welcome Group and needs your help! Volunteer activities include venue set-up, childcare support, and craft activity planning. Let's welcome our neighbors! 
  
  
• Young Professional Volunteer event with SBP | Friday, September 30th 
  

  Come out and meet like-minded young professionals while helping your community and expand your network! SBP is a disaster relief non-profit that focuses on the elderly, veterans, and lower income families that have suffered from natural disasters.

• Dress Like a Minion Day with SBP! | Friday, October 7th, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
  
  VH Star Agency SBP invites you to put some sweat equity into the community and help rebuild a home - while dressed like a minion! Your Houston neighbors need you! Have fun with other like minded minions while making a difference.
  
  
• Project Management Mentor Needed | Now through the beginning of December 
  

  Do you have project management experience? Volunteer with ESCH as a Mentor! Volunteers will mentor UH Bauer College students solving challenges for local nonprofits.
