This is a temporary position for the upcoming elections: Pay rate: $17.00 AN HOUR Location : Houston, TX 77055 Work Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Availability to work overtime when needed and preferred basic knowledge on Apple iPad. You will be required to have reliable transportation in order to conduct testing as well as deliveries as needed. January 30, 2023 - expected start date! You will be required to have reliable transportation to conduct testing as well as deliveries as needed. You will be driving on this assignment. Duties: o Work well under pressure and tight deadlines o Be punctual and adhere to work schedule o Entry level usage of Excel, Word, and Apple IOS o Inventory of various forms and supplies o Ability to work alone and take direction o test polling locations for data connectivity o Answer technical calls about procedure and policy during election periods for judges o Answering calls to providing instructions and assistance to voters o Deliver supplies and provide onsite technical assistance when needed o Reconciliation of polling equipment after election day Must be able to: o Stand/walk/bend for long periods in the warehouse as well as outside o Lift 30 lbs. to 50 Ibs. o Basic physical warehouse duties o Ability to drive own vehicle around Harris County to various polling locations o Commitment to extended overtime hours during peaks in election periods.
