The Sam Houston Area Radio Control Society (SHARCS), a model aircraft club, will hold a fly-in this Saturday, 2/11/3, at our flying field in Tom Bass Park. Please see the attached flyer for details. When I was young, our model aircraft club was a great inspiration and starting point for me and many other kids. Many of those kids are engineers, doctors, and other STEM professionals to this very day.
