Imagiread Press Contact: Tiffany R. Crout Phone: (281) 662-4185 Email: tiffany@imagiread.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NASA partners with black-owned Literacy Academy Houston, TX September 5, 2023-Imagiread, an award-winning literacy academy specializing in Whole Child Care services, is pleased to announce a partnership with NIFTY (NASA Inspires Futures for Tomorrow’s Youth) to design S.T.R.E.A.M-based programming for Houston area youth ages 9-13. The collaboration will support the facilitation of equitable science-based out-of-school time learning engagement in several pop-up locations across the metropolitan area. Youth and families can look forward to activities that nurture S.T.E.M. Identity while ideating, designing, and executing tech-enabled solutions that encourage community sustainability. Ms. Tiffany, Owner of Imagiread, notes the partnership as “an incredible opportunity to take a deeper look at the reading deficiencies of those who may not have access to like programming, might be reluctant to engage, and/or are neurodiverse, in an effort to expand specialized S.T.R.E.A.M.-based literacy programming.” NIFTY has paired NASA Expert and Role Model Paige Graff with the program. Graff will lead the culminating Innovation Station event being held at the Lunar and Planetary Institute on Monday Sep 18, 2023 from 10 AM-1 PM. Interested youth should sign up to participate via Imagiread’s dedicated webpage. Transportation and lunch are included; all participants will receive Adventure Kits, swag, and more. ### Imagiread creates X-S.T.R.E.A.M. Learning experiences for school-aged children.
