HBCUs Reaching 150 years since first established in 1867

Excellent story.  In 1867, nine historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) were established, which means 2017 represents 150 years of black excellence in education. These universities have produced academic scholars, top athletes, award-winning musicians and actors, politicians and everyday people who have gone on to impact the world.

Here are US News and World report ranking for these schools, as compared to each other:

#4 - Morehouse

#16 - Johnson C. Smith

#19 - Morgan State University

#25 - Fayetteville State University
#32 - Alabama State University

#48 - St. Augustine’s University
Unranked - Barber-Scotia College

Unranked - Talladega College
