The 2nd Annual Archdiocesan African Cultural Heritage Festival is a FREE indoor/outdoor event starts at 3:00 pm with Holy Mass celebrated in African liturgical culture. The chief celebrant of the Mass is Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, Archbishop of the Galveston-Houston Archdiocese.
The festival is for the evangelization of African Catholics and those of African descent in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, TX, to enrich the community, and share the unique diverse African heritage with the people of this great archdiocese. This rich cultural exchange is designed to build stronger African families, grow businesses, and promote vocations. (Watch the video: https://youtu.be/x_fkedb-7ionca)
Groups and organizations with 10 participants or more will be recognized by the Master of Ceremony (MC) during the festival. Please request participation form before August 9, 2019.
All groups that are registered by August 4, 2019 will also be listed in the printed program.
