Affordable Counseling Resources-Open Path Collective.com

On today's Cornell Panel Discussion, the mental health speaker suggested this site to find Therapists for $30-$60 intended for those without health care. OpenPathCollective.com Also it was mentioned Psychology Today also has resources for sliding scale therapists. I did check the reviews for Open Path and they had pretty good reviews.

During the panel discussion there was a discussion that right now we are experiencing collective trauma - as in 911 or a school shooting.. folks are dealing with anxiety, separation from friends and family, loss of jobs, self-medication (alcohol, smoking, drugs) - If you are having symptoms such as headaches, GI issues, (I think she said "fast") breathing, feeling the need to control everything around you, feeling stressed need to talk to someone that does not know you to talk it out - you may want to consider reaching out for counseling. Everyone feels some anxiety some time.. and counseling can help!
