Greetings,
There is a fabulous art exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts that explores the history and legacy of the transatlantic slave trade. The exhibition comprises more than 130 works of art and documents from Africa, the Americas, the Caribbean, and Europe across 500 years, from the 17th century to the 21st century. The exhibition audio guide reveals selected works of art with audio commentary from artists such as Jamal Cyrus (a third ward product), and from scholars and museum curators.
To access the exhibition audio guide scroll down and click on Afro-Atlantic Histories below and then click on the red exhibition audio guide phrase on the page that comes up.
The exhibit can be viewed in person through Monday, January 17th . On the 17th the museum will be open from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Stay safe,
Elwyn
