From: Cuellar, Laura - MYR Sent: Monday, January 10, 2022 2:28 PM To: Cuellar, Laura - MYR Subject: FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid Training - January 26th 2022 The Mayor's Office of Education and the Child Friendly Cities Initiative (CFCI) has partnered with the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD to host FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Trainings and improve children's wellness in Houston. The next MHFA training is on Wednesday, January 26th from 9am - 2:30pm (includes 30 minute break). Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents, ages 6-18. See additional flyer for more details. Interested participants must register ASAP at https://bit.ly/YouthMH1stAidJan26​ and complete a 1-2 hr online course before the training. Spots are limited and RSVP will close once capacity is reached.
