JOBS AND Summer Internships Port of Houston thanks efamily member Marion Edwards for sharing!

Employment

As one of the nation’s busiest ports, the Port of Houston Authority offers exciting career opportunities, competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

In addition to such benefits as medical coverage, tuition aid, and a retirement plan, the Port Authority also encourages commuting solutions through a vanpool program. In addition, some employees work an Employee Trip Reduction (ETR) schedule with alternate Fridays off as ETR days.
During the summer months, an internship program introduces college students to a wide variety of careers available at the port. Applications for this program are accepted annually.
