WHAT?
352, $18,000 scholarships for students in the Houston Metropolitan area
(must attend a public school in Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery or Waller counties)
WHEN?
Applications will be available mid November. Application deadline is Feb. 23, 2015.

•Since its beginning in 1932, the Houston Livestock
Show and Rodeo has committed nearly $375 million to
educational and youth programs for students in the State of Texas.
•Currently, more than 2,100 students are
on Show scholarships, attending more than 100 different Texas colleges and
universities.
•In 2015, the HLSR Scholarship Program will award and fund 740 scholarships
to outstanding Texas students.
•The Show’s more than 31,000 volunteers donate
countless hours each year to make the Show a success. Their efforts, along with the support of
sponsors, corporate contributors, scholarship donors and auction buyers, are
building a future for deserving young men and women in Texas.
