I have attended this event in Sylvester Turner Park and it is always well attended with lots of activities and special displays, free food and drink, and more! Some years they have had Fireworks and Parachute jumpers! This event is one of many positive community events State Rep. Sylvester Turner, also an efamily member, has initiated in the Acres Home Community - it is evident the work he has done over the years! It's that time of year again, Rep. Sylvester Turner Family Day in the Park, which is scheduled for April 11, 2015 - 2  - 6 p.m.

In order to prepare for another successful year we invite you to join us for our upcoming volunteer meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 5th @ 6 p.m.
