Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship - $30-32,000 stipends available!

Dear Colleague:

If you have students, friends, or colleagues who want to put their math or science knowledge to work for the young people who need them most, the Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship Program offers an unparalleled opportunity.

For top applicants, this prestigious Fellowship provides a generous stipend ($30,000-32,000) toward completion of a master's degree program at a Woodrow Wilson partner institution in Georgia, Indiana, or New Jersey. Fellows receive mentoring throughout the program, which begins with a yearlong experience that combines a clinical placement in a high-need school with subject matter coursework. Fellows then commit to teach for three years in urban or rural secondary schools, all the while under the guidance of supervising teachers and Woodrow Wilson certified mentors.

The most successful Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellows come to us through a recommendation from a trusted source--a professor or colleague like you. The 2016 Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship program application deadline is January 31. Thank you for recommending candidates to our program in the past. If you think of other strong candidates among your students or recent grads, please pass this email on and encourage them to apply.

For more information, please visit http://woodrow.org/teach. Thanks for giving this opportunity some thought. We look forward to hearing from any candidates you can refer to us.

All best,
Jose Ochoa
Director, Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowships
